Frequently Asked Questions

  • We offer a 4 hour standard base hire, excluding set up and pack up time. Extended or overnight hire is available for an additional cost. If you require a longer hire, please specify this on the booking enquiry form.

    • Suitable for children up to 5 years old

    • Adult supervision required at all times

    • No shoes, including high heels. (Please note that damaged mats will be charged at $60 each for replacement).

    • No food or drinks of any kind

    • No glitter, pens or paint, including face paint or similar (these can permanently stain and ruin the equipment)

    • No jewellery or sharp objects

    • No rough play

    • No cigarettes or lighters

    • No animals

    • Play equipment is not to be removed from the play area

    • Please wipe and sanitise hands prior to entering the play area

  • We deliver all across Canberra FREE of charge. Delivery to surrounding regional areas including Queanbeyan, Sutton, Murrumbateman and Yass are possible for an additional travel fee.

  • We require the date, time and venue of your party and a 50% non-refundable deposit upfront to secure your date. If you need to change your booking details, please contact us with as much notice as possible and we will do everything possible to accommodate you.

  • Yes, we can set up our soft play up on flat dry surfaces. However, in the event of unfortunate weather such as rain or extreme wind, as per our terms and conditions, we reserve the right to cancel a booking if we feel safety or the equipment will be compromised. We check the predicted weather forecast prior to your event and will discuss this issue and a back up plan. No refund will be offered on the day if you do not have an acceptable back up plan. For this reason, we highly recommend having a wet weather back up option so your event can go ahead, rain or shine!

    We also recommend that it be set up in shade to avoid the equipment getting too hot.

  • As parents to small children ourselves, we don't cut corners when it comes to hygiene. Your little ones are in safe, clean hands. Our equipment is thoroughly cleaned and wiped down with a specialist cleaning solution that kills 99.9% of bacteria, including every single ball which is cleaned using a specialty machine. We supply hand sanitising stations as standard with all our soft play packages. Our sanitiser is gentle, child-safe and 99.9% effective.

  • We accept payment by bank transfer or cash. Please note full payment is required no later than 7 days prior to the event.

  • Yes, we charge a refundable security bond of 50% of your total hire order, which is to be paid in full 7 days prior to your event. By hiring our equipment, you agree to return it to us in the same condition we left it to you in. Once the equipment has been inspected after pick up, we will process your bond refund to the same account it was paid from within 5 business days. Any damage or additional cleaning can be claimed as outlined in our terms and conditions. Tip: We highly recommend you delegate an adult safety supervisor to keep an eye on the play area at all times. Adult supervision is required for safety reasons, but also helps to prevent rough/damaging play.

  • If in the unfortunate event that the equipment is damaged, you may be liable for the full cost of repairs or replacement including transport costs and import taxes associated with the repair or replacement and loss of business costs while the equipment is repaired. We keep a record of the condition of our equipment including photos on delivery and pick up.

  • We can set up at a private residence, community hall or a private venue. If you’re unsure regarding a location or venue, please reach out and we would be happy to assist.

  • Unfortunately the above items along with other items such as silly string, body gems etc can permanently stain and damage the soft play equipment. We reserve the right to not set up the equipment if we expect any damage may be possible or safety is a concern.

  • No, for safety reasons, once the equipment is set up at the agreed location, it is unable to be moved out of the designated play area.

  • If for any reason you need to cancel your booking, please contact us immediately to discuss. As we have reserved our equipment for your exclusive use on your booking date, we are unable to offer refunds on amounts paid, except for the Security Bond. However, we will hold any funds paid as a credit for any future bookings made within 12 months of your cancellation date. All cancellations must be made in writing to enquiries@bambinossoftplay.com.au.

  • Yes, we are covered up to $20 million with public liability insurance. A copy can be provided to you if required.
